Bangladesh National Authority for Chemical Weapons Convention (BNACWC)
Enrollment Rules-2010 was published on March 23, 2010. The rule is mainly connected with the proper supervision and control of the Chemical Product market in Bangladesh. Bangladesh National Authority for Chemical Weapons Convention (BNACWC) prepared the rules as per the Chemical Weapon Prohibition Act-2006.
A person intends to produce, process, use, transfer, export & import any chemical product, has to apply to the Bangladesh National Authority for Chemical Weapons Convention (BNACWC) with following documents:
1. Two Copy PP Size Picture 2. Citizen Certificate 3. Trade License 4. TIN Certificate 5. VAT Certificate 6. A copy of Bank Draft/Pay Order 7. Import Registration Certificate (IRC) 8. Certificate of Chamber Membership 9. Memorandum of Association & Article of Association.
After submitting all above documents, BNACWC sends the application form and documents to the internal Review Committee within 7 days of application submission, Review Committee checks the documents and evaluate the application. Review Committee also verifies the documents and communicate to other government agencies. Afterward, Review Committee inspects the establishment (if needed). Review Committee finally submits the complete report to the National Authority within 15 days. BNACWC critically reviews the Report if it’s positive then they proceed for certificate issuance. If the review report is satisfactory then the BNACWC issues Enrollment Certificate within 21 days.
