| The draft Resolution provides for the amendments to Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 65 of 20 January 2021 "On Approval of the Technical Regulation on Cosmetic Products". The amendments provide for the extension, until 31 July 2027 (instead of 3 August 2026), of the transitional period during which the making available on the market of cosmetic products placed on the market before the date of entry into force of Resolution No. 65 may not be prohibited or restricted on the grounds of their non-compliance with the requirements of the Technical Regulation. In addition, the draft Resolution clarifies the educational qualification requirements for the expert responsible for carrying out the cosmetic product safety assessment in accordance with Part B of Annex 1 to the Technical Regulation on Cosmetic Products. It provides that the safety assessment of cosmetic products shall be carried out by an expert holding a Master's degree in the specialty "I2 Medicine" or "I8 Pharmacy", or in a related specialty included in the list of specialties approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. |
