In the power and accordance of SRO No 159- Law/2015/39/Customs – Customs Act, 1969 (Act No. IV of 1969) – Section 19 (1), the government after consultation with NBR has decided to cancel the SRO No. 157 -law/2012/2385 and waive import tax for a H.S. codes listed in above mentioned SRO on the fulfillment of following conditions:
 
a.    In case of importing capital instruments under the same H.S codes in multiple challans, the whole batch must to be imported within the one year of submission first bill of entry.
 
b.    The rebate benefits are not applicable for commercial importers when importing instruments or parts of instruments in separate challans.
