Thailand: The DLD order on temporary suspension of the importation or transit of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Hungary to prevent the spread of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza

On 28 August 2025, the Department of Livestock Development (DLD) has lifted the temporary suspension of the importation or transit of live poultry and poultry carcasses in Békés, Csongrád-Csanád, Tarkany, Kiskunfelegyhaza, Bács-Kiskun of Hungary, which was implemented based on the Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015) in order to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into Thailand.
