The Bangladesh Trade Portal (BTP) is an official source of all regulatory information relevant to traders who wish to import goods into Bangladesh or export to other countries. Products covered: Plain bearings (ICS code(s): 21.100.10).This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 245 /2025 (4 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 4912-1 "Plain bearings — Thin-walled half bearings with or without flange — Part 1: Tolerances, design features and methods of test "; (33 page(s), in English).It should be noted that the draft of this standard was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/531 dated 10 January 2025.Worth mentioning is that this standard adopts the technical content of ISO 3548-1:2022, ISO 3548-1:2022/Amd 1:2024.Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.Proposed date of adoption: 11 August 2025Proposed date of entry into force: The day following the date of publication in the official gazetteAgency or authority designated to handle comments and text available from:National Enquiry Point
