The Bangladesh Trade Portal (BTP) is an official source of all regulatory information relevant to traders who wish to import goods into Bangladesh or export to other countries. The Ministry of Commerce of the Bangladesh Government has established the Portal in order to improve the predictability and transparency of the countrys trading laws and processes.

Egypt: The draft of Egyptian Standard ES 1601-2 "Wheat – part 2: General principles for Wheat (Triticum Durum Desf.)"

This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 247 /2025 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 1601-2 "Wheat - part 2: General principles for Wheat (Triticum Durum Desf.)".It should be noted that the draft Egyptian Standard ES 1601-2 "Wheat - part 2: "General principles for Wheat (Triticum Durum Desf.)" was formerly notified in G/SPS/N/EGY/157 dated 17 January 2025.Worth mentioning is that this standard complies with the following:ISO 11051:1994 (confirmed in 2020);Codex Standard CXS 199 "Wheat and durum wheat" adopted in 1995, amended in 2019.Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.Date of adoption: 11 August 2025Date of entry into force: The day following the date of publication in the official gazette.
