In January 2025, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued a partial authorization of California Air Resources Board's (CARB's) request to authorize the 2022 Amendments to the Commercial Harbor Craft (CHC) Regulation, California Code of Regulations, Title 17, Section 93118.5, under Clean Air Act section 209(e).
