SRO No. 411 - Law/2012 – in accordance with Imports and Exports (Control) Act, 1950 (Act. XXXIX of 1950) the government has enacted following rules:

 

This document will be named as Import Policy order 2012-2015. It’ll be effective from now onwards till June 30, 2015.

 

The policy dictates that all food and beverage that expires after certain period of time needs to be labeled on respective containers. Cautionary notes stating “Free from Germs” or, “Does not contain any harmful materials” need to be printed on the labels.
