Japan: Revision to the Order for Enforcement of the Consumer Product Safety Act, the Ministerial Order on Technical Requirements for Specified Products Concerning the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry.

“Baby beds intended for used by babies up to 24 months old " and "Toys intended for use by babies under 36 months old" will be specified to “Specified products for children” by revising the Order for Enforcement of the Consumer Product Safety Act. To specify the technical requirements for those products, the Ministerial Order on Technical Requirements for Specified Products Concerning the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry will be revised.
