The Bangladesh Trade Portal (BTP) is an official source of all regulatory information relevant to traders who wish to import goods into Bangladesh or export to other countries. The Ministry of Commerce of the Bangladesh Government has established the Portal in order to improve the predictability and transparency of the country’s trading laws and processes.

Specific hygiene requirements for certain meat, fishery products, dairy products and eggs.

The proposal notified in G/SPS/N/EU/633 (26 April 2023) is now adopted by Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/1141 of 14 December 2023 amending Annexes II and III to Regulation (EC) No 853/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards specific hygiene requirements for certain meat, fishery products, dairy products and eggs (Text with EEA relevance).The Regulation applies from 9 May 2024, except Point (3)(a)(iv)(1) of the Annex which shall apply from 9 November 2024
