Process Steps

Step 1

 Applicant comes with required documents and duly fills-in UD application Form and submits the papers to the UD permits section of BGMEA  

Step 2

Deposit the money & Service Charge (item charge ) to the Bank and collects the money receipt  

Step 3

Applicant submits the receipt to the account section of BGMEA. The section gives a barcode against money receipt

Step 4

Application with all required documents sends to the examination section

Step 5

 Application sends to the BGMEA internal UD permit committee for further investigation

Step 6

Committee checks the documents

Step 7

After checking the documents, permission for UD is being sent with consent letter to the  border through online and courier

Step 8

Applicant gets the permission to import raw materials from foreign country    

Official Time Limit: 30 working days

Internal Fee:

BDT 522 (if urgent, BDT 200 will be added)

Amendment: BDT 300

Import: BDT 220 (if urgent, BDT 100 will be added

For Local Fabrics: BDT 422 (If urgent, BDT 200 will be added)
