DescriptionBefore opening L/C, necessary insurance cover note shall be purchased from the Sadharan Bima Corporation in case of import by the Government and from Sadharan Bima Corporation or any non-life insurance company approved by the Government in case import by the private sector. The insurance policy has to be submitted to the Customs Authority during release of imported goods from the customs Authority. (This specific measures is applicable for all commodities)
