Saudi Arabia: Notice of Administration Order of Saudi Food and Drug Authority Ref. No. 28179 dated 24 December 2025 entitled “Temporary ban on importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products originating from Calvados in France”

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) issued the Notice of Administration Order of Saudi Food and Drug Authority Ref. No. 28179 dated 24 December 2025 entitled “Temporary ban on importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products originating from Calvados in France”. The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has subsequently issued the Notice Administrative Order No. 40965 dated 5 April 2026, lifting the temporary ban on the importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products originating from Calvados in France, based on the WOAH report dated 27 March 2026, indicating that Calvados in France is free of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Virus (HPAI).
