Saudi Arabia: Notice of Administration Order of Saudi Food and Drug Authority Ref. No. 17741 dated 20 October 2025 entitled “Temporary ban on importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products originating from Loire-Atlantique in France”

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) issued the Notice of Administration Order of Saudi Food and Drug Authority Ref. No. 17741 dated 20 October 2025 entitled “Temporary ban on importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products originating from Loire-Atlantique in France”. The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has subsequently issued the Notice Administrative Order No. 40965 dated 5 April 2026, lifting the temporary ban on the importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products originating from Loire-Atlantique in France, based on the WOAH report dated 27 March 2026, indicating that Loire-Atlantique in France is free of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Virus (HPAI).
