USA: Public Workshop on Amendments to the Procedures for Exemption of Add-On and Modified Part(s) for On-Road Vehicles/Engines

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) staff invite you to participate remotely in a public workshop to discuss proposed amendments to the Procedures for Exemption of Add-on and Modified Part(s) for On-Road Vehicle(s)/Engine(s). The proposed amendments will clarify, modify, and update some of the processes and criteria for obtaining an exemption Executive Order (EO) to increase the efficiency and overall workflow of the application review process. Staff will review and present the proposal and seek input from interested stakeholders.The workshop will be held via Zoom webinar at the following date and time:Date:                 28 August 2025

Location:           Zoom Webinar/TeleconferenceAfter registering for the Zoom webinar, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the workshop. Please use the link and password to join the workshop the morning of the meeting. If you are using a tablet or smart phone, please download the Zoom app or ensure the latest version of Zoom is installed on your device.During the workshop, if you wish to provide comments or ask questions, please use Zoom’s “raise hand” feature. For those who are joining via a conference call, press #9 to raise your hand. The question-and-answer feature on Zoom will also be available to provide comments and ask questions. This workshop will be recorded for future viewing.Staff’s presentation, and any additional webinar related documents, will be made available prior to the workshop meeting on CARB’s Aftermarket Parts website
