This document specifies the performance classification, technical requirements, test equipment, test methods, marking, packaging，storage, and the information to be provided by the manufacturer for protecting clothing against mechanical risks.

This document applies to protective aprons, trousers and vests used with hand-held knives, as well as clothing that provides similar protection to body parts for accident prevention.
