  Health Canada's Food Directorate completed a premarket safety assessment of a food additive submission seeking authorization for the use of allura red in fruit flavoured beer at a maximum level of use of 10 p.p.m. The function of this food additive. Allura red (ICS Codes: 67.220.20; 67.160.10).
